The same few machines usually cause most of the disruption
On many sites the pattern is familiar. Equipment runs to failure because there has never been time to do anything else, everybody has a rough idea which machines cause the trouble, and the spares that would have fixed them quickly were not on the shelf.
Sorting that out does not need a large system or a big budget. It needs someone to look properly at your equipment, rank it against failure risk and production impact, and put a maintenance routine in place that your team can realistically keep up with.

Border Asset Reliability was founded by Leigh Shannan, whose experience covers both hands-on emergency breakdown response and office-based continuous improvement and reliability work.
That combination matters. Recommendations that ignore what a maintenance team can realistically get done tend not to get followed, and reliability work that never leaves the office does not change much on the floor.
